What is the Factual Position of Ayurvedic Treatment for Heart Disease?

Ayurvedic Treatment for Heart Disease

In our country more than 3,000 years back there was a Maharishi known as Maharishi Vagbhata Ji. He wrote many Sutra about the constitution, symptoms, treatments and control of many diseases. There was about 7,000 Sutra propounded by him to treat various medical conditions and all of these Sutras have been accommodated in his book called ‘Ashtanga Hridyam’. The essence of One of the Sutras which deals with the heart conditions is narrated below. In this context, one can also go through Vagbhata’s Astanga Samgraha and Vagbhatt Samhita. One can have a fair amount of understanding by reading on the subject ‘Rajiv Dixit talk on Sutra of Maharishi Vagbhat‘ .

Maharishi Vagbhata Ji was of the opinion that any disease to the heart condition is primarily caused by the dis-balance of Acidic and Alkaline contents in the blood stream. Acidity is first formed in our stomach and presents symptoms like burning sensation in stomach or guts, belching, excessive watering in mouth etc. When acidity in stomach is not controlled or treated it passes to the blood streams. Acidity of blood stream is known as Blood Acidity. Blood Acidity ultimately causes increase in the Blood cholesterol, blockage of arteries, and ultimately various forms of heart diseases. He further advocates to practice Ayurvedic Treatment for Heart Disease.

How to Treat Blood Acidity?

Maharshi Vagbhata Ji speaks about controlling or eliminating the Blood Acidity by a very simple procedure. Just tune up your daily routines of life style,  Use prescribed diets, take adequate exercises and meditation and it’s all done. Once acidity in your blood stream is gone, your heart disease is also fully cured. That is the philosophy behind treatment of heart conditions in Ayurveda.

Acid is neutralized by Alkaline products. So take adequate quantity of alkaline products and reduce all those food substances which are responsible for causing Acidity. Increase of Alkalies in your stomach is absorbed into your blood stream and there, by its reaction with the Blood Acidity it neutralizes its effect. Bottle Guard is the best source of Alkalies and besides, it is also very rich in fibers. Therefore Bottle guard is most recommended to be taken in heart disease conditions.

How to use Bottle Guard (Hindi- Lauki)?

Bottle guard for heart

One can extract 250 ml of Bottle Guard juice and mix it wit 5-7 leaves of Holy Basil (Hindi- Tulasi), Mint (Hindi- Pudina) and a pinch of Himalayan Black Salt. Remember, never use iodized salt with it because it is acidic in nature.
One should take it daily in the morning hours with empty stomach just after finishing the bowel cleansing and the mouth wash.
It is always recommended to go for a walk, exercise, yoga and meditation etc for an hour or so after taking the juice.
If required same procedure can be repeated in the evening hours too.

How long will it take to show the benefit?

As denoted by Maharshi Vagbhata ji, it is NOT the treatment of Heart disease but it is the treatment Heart Conditions. Therefore it is a slow process which rejuvenate your heart permanently. Normally it takes 2-3 months of continuous use of the above procedure to observe some significant improvement in the body conditions. If the process is continued in most of the cases well within 6 months your complete heart will be rejuvenated and you will be free from any heart diseases.

Ayurvedic Treatment for Heart Disease not only encompass medicines but it equally advocates for a change in life style, dietary controls and practicing yoga and pranayam for an effective cure of the heart conditions.
